Funeral Celebrant & Celebrations of Life: A Beautiful Farewell

Tamara the Celebrant truly honoured my sister Sharon. Despite challenges, she connected with who Sharon was—funny, kind, and loved. She captured Sharon's spirit, disability, and strength through cancer, and embraced her large family and friend circle. Tamara's guidance, compassion, and even including Sharon's bird, Spike, made it feel right. Her thoughtful service allowed me to be a proud sister, knowing Sharon was seen and celebrated.

Thank you on behalf of myself and family for the lovely service you gave for J. Everyone said how it was a real celebration of J's life: sad, moving and happy. Your service gave us the opportunity to give him the send-off we could be proud of.

We first came across Tamara when she conducted my father's funeral service two years ago. When my Mum passed away we wanted to ensure Tamara would be the one who conducted the service, to the point where we chose a specific date to ensure her availability. Tamara is a consummate professional, but she is also pitch perfect in terms of compassion, and understanding the family's needs. We would recommend her unreservedly.

On meeting Tamara, I was instantly put at ease by her cheerful composed demeanour and her knowledge of what’s possible and how to handle the service, giving my dad the best send-off. I would recommend Tamara with complete faith; she will not disappoint.

We both want to thank you so much for everything you’ve done for us. The service was lovely and so personal to our mum. I know that you had planned it with her, but even so your idea about the video was just brilliant, and enjoyed by everyone! Your support and knowledge made us feel at ease the whole way through, from coming to see mum initially, then your kind words the day she passed, and lastly the final planning through to the actual day itself, you’re a very special lady.

We knew Tamara was the right person to organise my sister’s funeral as soon as we met her. Her words on the day were wonderful she caught my sister's her spirit and soul completely. The whole service was exactly what we wanted. It was a wonderful day, and will be remembered for ever.

Tamara helped us create a marvellous, magical commemoration for Mary, my mother. Mum was 94 and had been living with dementia for some time when she passed away. Led by Tamara’s gentle guiding hand, we celebrated Mum’s life and everyone participated in sharing memories of Mum and the things she loved. It was a beautiful afternoon, and a memory I will cherish forever. The younger generation of family members, who could not really recall Mum pre-dementia, said it helped remind them who she really was, and for the older crew, it was a bonding moment as we relived childhood and young adult memories of our treasured mother and auntie.

You are amazing! The funeral service you conducted for my dad was made so personal and even more special. You gently guided me through the whole thing from start to finish with gentle words and a laugh when needed. We can't thank you enough for what you have done for my family and when we look back you will be a lasting part of that memorable day.

I recently engaged Tamara as the Celebrant at my mother’s funeral in London. The process from start to finish was an absolute joy. She understood perfectly where I might need some guidance and where to step back. Her advice was gentle and appropriate and totally professional.

During the funeral, Tamara was incredibly supportive to all attendees. She had researched studiously and was able to identify various family members and knew their names. She was gentle, compassionate and authoritative when needed.
